Product detailed description
Drug screening is a laboratory urine test used for the preliminary detection of selected psychoactive substances and their metabolites. It is used in cases of suspected drug use, for preventive purposes, occupational health examinations, or to monitor abstinence.
The test provides qualitative or semi-quantitative information – that is, it determines whether a given substance is present in the body, and possibly in what concentration it is being excreted. In the case of a positive result, confirmation with a more sensitive chromatographic method (e.g., GC-MS) is recommended.
The test is performed using urine, with the advantages of speed and a broad spectrum of detectable substances.
Detected substances and their cut-off concentrations:
-
Amphetamine (AMP): 1000 ng/mL
-
Methamphetamine (MET): 1000 ng/mL
-
