Product detailed description
The a-DGP (deamidated gliadin peptide) IgG test is used to detect specific IgG antibodies against deamidated gliadin, a component of gluten. This test is primarily used when celiac disease is suspected, especially in individuals with IgA deficiency, where standard tests (such as anti-tTG IgA) may not be reliable. The presence of these IgG antibodies may indicate an immune system sensitivity to gluten and serves as an important supplementary marker in the diagnosis of celiac disease.Zeptat se služby ChatG The IBD screen is used to distinguish inflammatory bowel diseases (such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis) from functional disorders like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The etiology of these inflammatory diseases remains unclear, with both internal (genetic predisposition, immune system status) and external (infections) factors contributing to their development. The diagnosis is primarily based on clinical symptoms. The testing includes the following antibody panel: ANCA, antibodies against goblet cells of the intestinal mucosa, ASCA (anti-Saccharomyces cerevisiae antibodies), and antibodies against the exocrine pancreas. Incidence of autoantibody findings:
Ulcerative colitis – goblet cells: 28%, p-ANCA: 50–80%, exocrine pancreas: 2%, ASCA: 2%
Crohn’s disease – goblet cells: 0%, p-ANCA: 10–20%, exocrine pancreas: 40%, ASCA: 73%
