The Myositis Blot is a specialized blood test designed to detect specific autoantibodies associated with autoimmune inflammatory muscle diseases (idiopathic inflammatory myopathies). Using an immunoblot method, it enables the simultaneous assessment of multiple antibodies associated with conditions such as polymyositis, dermatomyositis, and antisynthetase syndrome.
